Gardens in Sant Gervasi will be named after Enric Sagnier and Winston Churchill

The versatile Catalan architect Enric Sagnier i Winston Churchill, the only Prime Minister awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, will appoint two district landscaped spaces. The gardens are Enric Sagnier in Brusi Street, 51-61, surrounding the civic center Sagnier House, former summer house of the family of the architect. Wiston Churchill Gardens are located at the junction of the Via Augusta with Ronda General Mitre. These new names of two garden areas of the district, were approved unanimously at the last Plenary Council March 8, a proposal from the Lecture Hall Gazetteer of Barcelona. Enric...
